Disclaimer for My Mimi Home
Last updated: November 6, 2026
The information and inspiration published on My Mimi Home (mymimihome.com) is provided in good faith for general information and home decorating inspiration only. By using this website, you accept this disclaimer in full. If you do not agree with any part of it, please do not use this website.
Home Decor Content Is Inspiration, Not Professional Advice
My Mimi Home publishes decor ideas, styling suggestions and product inspiration. We are not architects, structural engineers, electricians, plumbers or licensed interior designers, and nothing on this website replaces professional advice for your specific home. Always consult a qualified professional before structural changes, electrical or plumbing work, heavy installations, or any project that could affect the safety, structure or value of your property. Any decorating project you undertake based on ideas found here is done at your own discretion and risk.
Accuracy and Completeness of Information
We research and edit our guides carefully, but trends, product availability, prices, colours and retailer details change over time. We make no guarantee that all information on this website is complete, current or error-free at the moment you read it. If you spot an error, please tell us through our Contact page so we can review and correct it.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on My Mimi Home may be affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate income helps us keep the website running and keep our content free for readers. We only link to products and retailers that are relevant to the decor topic being discussed, and an affiliate relationship never guarantees a positive mention. Product prices and availability shown or mentioned in older articles may no longer be accurate.
Advertising Disclosure
My Mimi Home displays advertising through third-party advertising partners, which may include Google AdSense and Mediavine. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Advertising is clearly separated from our editorial content, and advertisers do not control what we write in our guides. You can learn more about how advertising cookies work and how to manage them in our Privacy Policy.
Images, Inspiration and Copyright
Many home decor ideas are visual, and our articles may include images used to illustrate styles, colour palettes and room layouts. We make reasonable efforts to credit image sources where they are known and to respect the rights of photographers, designers, creators and homeowners. If you are the rights holder of an image featured on this website and you would like a credit corrected or the image removed, contact us at leprenchosb@gmail.com with the page URL and we will respond promptly. Nothing in this disclaimer transfers any copyright or other intellectual property right to visitors.
External Links
Our articles link to third-party websites — retailers, social platforms such as Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook, and other resources — for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, products, availability or privacy practices. Visiting an external site is at your own discretion, and you should review that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
No Guarantees About Results
Decorating results vary with room size, light, budget, materials and personal taste. We cannot guarantee that following an idea from this website will produce an identical result in your home, increase your property’s value, or achieve any particular outcome. Use our guides as a starting point, adapt them to your space, and test colours and materials before committing.
Consent and Changes
By using My Mimi Home, you consent to this disclaimer and agree to its terms. We may update this page from time to time; the version published here is the version that applies. For questions about this disclaimer, contact us through our Contact page.
